Responsibilities

1. Underwrite Medical cases for insurance proposals in Singapore
2. Provide underwriting support to Claims and Policy Services Department
3. Provide guidance and underwriting training to junior underwriting staff
4. Provide support in handling underwriting risk control and audit related matters (internal & external).
5. Able to take on ad-hoc projects that was assigned

Requirements

1. Degree holder, preferably with specialization in Biomedical Science, Pharmacy, Business or Finance
2. Min 5 years of underwriting experience
3. Possess a minimum underwriting authority of S$1m for Life application
4. Strong analytical and communication skills with strong commitment to service excellence
5. Good team player and able to adapt to and work independently in a fast paced environment
