Training Manager for an Insurance Company

Responsibilities

  1. Identify training needs of distribution channels; design, develop and deliver training solutions to meet these needs
  2. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of training programs delivered to the distribution channels and submit training reports to Head of Training
  3. Ensure training programs comply with company/industry requirements (e.g. Fair Dealing, CEDLI, Training & Competency, and Agency Training SOP etc.)
  4. Develop and deliver ad-hoc training programmes (e.g. product launch/training, productivity workshops, investment seminars) to support business objectives
  5. Review the quality of the sales advisory process of the tied agency force and conduct remedial training to bridge any competency gaps; submit review reports to Head of Training
  6. Monitor and measure achievement of training KPI (Key Performance Indicators)
  7. Build and strengthen rapport with distribution channels through regular meetings, communicating training standards and expectations, resolving training and development concerns
  8. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending professional development workshops, reviewing training-related publications, establishing networks, benchmarking best practices and participating in professional societies

Requirements

  1. Degree holder, preferably with specialization in Finance related subjects
  2. CMFAS Module 5, 9, 9(A) and Certificate in Health Insurance are essential
  3. Minimum 2 - 3 years of sales experience and 2 - 3 years of sales training experience in the financial services industry
  4. Experienced in developing full spectrum financial planning and sales training programs
