IT Service Management Manager a Financial Services Company

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for executing Information services projects either as a subject matter expert or lead, depending on the structure of projects.
  2. Support user partners in the resolution of technical issues that may arise with the technology through
  3. Manage or support the daily operations of IT infrastructure/services in a environment where the IT infrastructure and services has been outsourced. The daily activities include but are not restricted to
  4. Report on the IS operations.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information technology.
  2. 3 – 5 year experience in IT Service/Infrastructure support or projects.
  3. Experience and willingness to work in a highly regulated Information services environment in a Financial Institution (Insurance).
  4. Strong technical knowledge in the various components of Information Service infrastructure or operations.
  5. Good communication and writing ability is a must.
  6. Good research, analytical and problem solving skills.
  7. Ability to link technology with business to provide business capabilities
  8. A self-starter who is willing to use past experiences to learn about new areas.
  9. Good influencing and negotiation skills.
  10. ITIL certifications or training would be an advantage.
