Creates and executes project plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope
Reviews deliverables of project team
Effectively applies systematic project management methodology and enforces project standards and best practices
Ensures project documents are complete, current and shared by project team
Manage the full cycle project development from kick-off, gap analysis, to project go-live
Regularly reports progress and status of the projects and escalate issues/challenges to the relevant parties through consistent observation, re-evaluation of project priorities
Manages/review project budget
Holds/participate in regular status meetings with project team
Delivers engaging, well-organized, concise and complete information to stakeholders
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
Advocate of change management from all aspects, not just IT, through identifying opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
Motivates team to work together and creates a conducive working environment
Keeps track of lessons learnt and shares those lessons with team members
Resourceful in solving project problems and team conflicts
Excellent management of partners and ability to unite them into the internal team
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology
A PMP certification will be an added advantage
Minimum 8 - 10 years of project management experience
Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
Experience in managing large multiple projects concurrently
Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices especially on the digital front
Optimistic leader, passionate and enthusiastic
Good listening and communication skills
Possess logical thinking and handles pressure in a calm and collected manner
Knowledge in the insurance domain would be advantageous
