IT Operations Management Manager for a FInancial Services Company

Responsibilities

  1. Manage the end to end project management (Project reporting, planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, budget and cost estimations, stakeholder relationship management) till closure to successfully achieve the agreed outcomes while balancing project constraints.
  2. Take charge of overall infrastructure project management and planning, SOW and associated documentation including SLA, Master Agreement, procurement and legal/compliance clearance.
  3. Responsible and drive technical projects (E.g: DC Migration, New System Implementation) Managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure project contributions are successful and risks are well-managed.
  4. Ensure timely project information is provided to stakeholders with accurate and relevant supporting material.
  5. Assess risks and issues that threaten the successful delivery of the projects.
  6. Manage and ensuring projects are delivered promptly and escalating situation appropriately.
  7. Ensure documentation of development processes, project execution, change control process and incident management for projects.
  8. Work with various stakeholders to ensure product/solution requirements are met.
  9. Understand business needs and propose viable solutions;
  10. Assess the impact of changes and support their implementation;
  11. Analyse and document requirements and changes;
  12. Perform pre-UAT prior to releasing for users;
  13. Participate in test planning and review of users' test evidence;
  14. Support the IT needs/ services of users' departments;
  15. Ensure the effective use of IT in supporting business needs;
  16. May need to supervise a small team of development resources to deliver projects or work with vendors;
  17. Any other tasks as assigned by Head of Department.

Requirements

  1. Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  2. 5 -10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in leading a team;
  3. Experience in project management & business analysis;
  4. Experience in vendor evaluation, validation and assessment.
  5. Experience in running multiple platform/ infrastructure/network projects with proven track record of successful delivery.
  6. Familiar and hands-on experience in effecting MAS regulatory guidelines(e.g. MAS TRM Notice & Guidelines, Outsourcing guideline, etc);
  7. Familiar with Data Centre operations and Disaster Recovery.
  8. Familiar with core platform (AS/400, Wintel, storage, network, databases) and security technologies preferred.
  9. Relevant domain knowledge (e.g. Life Insurance, IT GRC) is preferred;
  10. Highly driven and independent;
  11. PMP/ CITPM is advantageous;
