Responsibilities

1. Involve in full life cycle activities, from requirements collection and analysis, solution and design, development, testing to production deployment.
2. Provide Technical documentation including Functional Specs, Technical Specs as well as Test Cases
3. Design, develop, and implement data analytics platform, data warehouse, and data marts for efficient and effective data analytics.
4. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets in insurance domain.
5. Provide BAU support after system go live.

Requirements

1. More than 3 years working experience as a data analyst in implementing data analytics projects
2. Technical expertise in data modeling, database warehouse and data mart design and development, data mining, visualization, and segmentation techniques
3. Good experience in data analytics solutions and platforms, such as Pivotal platform, Hadoop, Tableau, SAS, or SAP tools.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate large complex datasets with attention to detail and accuracy
5. Proficient in ETL tools (e.g. datastage), SQL queries, Unix scripting, reports and dashboards, and programming
6. Knowledge in insurance domain an added advantage
7. Self-driven, can-do attitude, and able to work under pressure and tight timeline
