IT Business Analyst Manager for an Insurance Company
Responsibilities
Understand business needs, identify user requirements & prepare/review business requirement documentation to ensure that they are taken into account in system enhancements
Translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for user acceptance testing
Prepare Test Plans or Review Test Plans for inclusions of test scenarios & test cases
Coordinate and execute UAT for new product launches, Day 2, enhancements, regulatory projects, policy documentation & application form design support
Coordinate and execute UAT for e-submission / Straight through processing and online portal/applications which is newly developed or supports
Report and update issue log on UAT related activities or support
Regular UAT progress updates to Team Lead/Manager
Ensure UAT sign-offs on test results / functions as agreed with relevant business users are on time
Manage test priorities and collaborate with other functions or testers
Smooth & efficient system operations hand over after UAT
Provide post UAT training to business users
Ensure that risks taken in own areas of work are controlled within approved limits and proper documentation is in place
Identify and recommend feasible creative solutions to areas critical / in need of improvements
Requirements
Minimum a good degree in IT related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant IT or business analyst experiences in life insurance industry
Excellent communication skills
Good knowledge of insurance products and processes
Well versed in AS/400, imaging systems & MS office software applications
Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Able to manage personal workload
Equip with business analysis, problem solving and facilitation skills
